Direct Link to Download the IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2026

The call letter link is active on the official IBPS portal. You can reach it from the CRP CSA-XVI section on ibps.in, or use the direct login page here: IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card 2026 login.

A word of advice: don’t wait for the last day. The IBPS site tends to slow down when thousands of candidates log in at once close to the exam, and you don’t want to be fighting a loading page two days before your paper.

What You Need to Log In

Keep these two things ready:

  • Your registration number or roll number
  • Your password or date of birth

Both were generated when you filled in your application. If you can’t find your registration number, search your email and SMS from IBPS before you panic.

How to Download the IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2026

  1. Open ibps.in.
  2. Go to the CRP CSA-XVI section on the homepage.
  3. Click the link for the Prelims admit card.
  4. Enter your registration or roll number and your password or date of birth.
  5. Submit, and your call letter will appear on screen.
  6. Download the PDF and print it. Take two or three copies, because it’s easy to lose one on the day.

What to Check After You Download It

Don’t just save the file and forget it. Open it and read every line. You should see:

  • Your name and father’s name
  • Your roll number
  • Your photograph and signature
  • Prelims date and time
  • Exam centre name and full address
  • Reporting time
  • Exam-day instructions

Make sure the photo is clear and the printout is readable, because the staff at the centre will use it to verify you.

Found a Mistake on Your Admit Card?

It happens, and it’s fixable if you act early.

  1. Call the IBPS helpline at 1800 222 366.
  2. Share your name, registration number, roll number and date of birth.
  3. Explain the error and send a scanned copy of the admit card if they ask.
  4. Follow their instructions and get it sorted well before 10 October.

PET Call Letter vs Prelims Admit Card: Don't Mix Them Up

Two different documents are floating around right now, and a lot of candidates are confusing them.

📌 Particular📩 PET Call Letter🎫 Prelims Admit Card
🎯 PurposeAttending Pre-Examination TrainingAppearing in the Prelims exam
👥 Who gets itOnly reserved category candidates who opted for PETAll eligible candidates
📅 Released on28 September 20261 October 2026
❓ Needed for the exam?❌ No✅ Yes, mandatory

If you opted for PET, the training window ends on 3 October, and you can download that call letter from the PET login page. If you didn’t opt for PET, you won’t have a PET call letter, and that has no effect on your Prelims.

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

The Prelims is an online, objective test. It’s a screening round: you just need to clear the cut-off to move on to the Mains.

📚 Section❓ Questions🎯 Marks⏱️ Time
English Language303020 minutes
Numerical Ability353520 minutes
Reasoning Ability353520 minutes
📌 Total10010060 minutes

Two things to remember. Each section has its own 20-minute timer, so you can’t carry extra time forward. And every wrong answer costs you 0.25 marks, so skip the questions you’re truly unsure about.

Prelims marks aren’t counted in the final merit. Selection is based on the Mains, and there’s no interview.

IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2026: Exam Day Checklist

Getting the small things right on the day saves you a lot of stress.

  • Printed admit card. A phone screenshot won’t do.
  • Valid photo ID. Check your admit card for the exact IDs accepted. Carry the original, and make sure the name matches your registration.
  • Passport-size photographs. Your call letter will say how many you need.
  • Reach early. Be at the centre well before the reporting time printed on your admit card. Reporting times can differ by shift, so go by your own call letter, not a friend’s.
  • Leave electronics at home. Mobile phones and other devices aren’t allowed inside.
  • Follow the staff. Listen to the instructions at the centre and keep calm during verification.

Also, your exam centre is fixed. IBPS doesn’t change it, so check the address today and plan your route. If you can, visit or at least map the route in advance so you aren’t hunting for the building on exam morning.

IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2026:Last Week Strategy

With about a week to go, you’re past the point of learning new things. Here’s what actually helps:

  1. Take two or three full-length mocks with strict sectional timing.
  2. Revise formulas, tables, squares and cubes, and your high-frequency reasoning patterns.
  3. Read through your mistakes from earlier mocks and fix the repeat offenders.
  4. Sleep properly. A rested brain beats an extra late-night hour of studying.

What Comes After the Prelims

If you clear the Prelims cut-off, the Mains is scheduled for 27 December 2026. IBPS will announce further details after the Prelims, so keep checking the official website.
